a day in the life of venture
I recently had the opportunity to work on a project that is near and dear to my heart. A few years ago I had the opportunity to do a 2005 Thailand Bike Tour to help raise money for educational opportunities in Chiang Mai, Thailand. If you get the opportunity check out their website and the different tours going on this summer. This is a short highlight video of a 95 mile bike ride which give a snap shot of what life is like on the road with Venture. www.ventureexpeditions.org
up and running
I am up and running on my new 27″ iMac with Final Cut Studio. I am currently working on a video project for the band Bensonwells (check them out at bensonwells.com ). The promo video should be posted in the next few days. I am also putting together a ‘live’ two camera shoot together for them. It is very exciting to see the final product come together that looks good.
sink the bismarck [music video]
ghost on radars from Ethan Miller on Vimeo.
I shot this video in about an hour for Sink the Bismarck in their practice space. Editing took me about 4 hours or so to complete. What I really love about this piece is that 16mm look, which I was able to create in post. I hope you enjoy this video!
Welcome to ethanmillermedia.com
This is a new adventure for me in my freelance work. I am going from below the radar to being visible on the web. It is exciting and scary at the same time, but I know it is exactly where I need to be. So what is it in the realm of video that I can help you with? I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds and whose paths I run across. Please feel free to leave feedback about the website, my business, etc… A special thanks to my wife Danielle for her support and believing in this dream of mine.
Best Regards,
Ethan
